Hurricane Films : How can you engage an online audience in storytelling? – How do you encourage users, especially those from an older generation to participate?
Today we were set a film by local media company Hurricane Films. The main point of this was to get us thinking about how/why the older generation do/don't use the internet.
One of the major parts which this led me to think about was the type of technology that the older generation could use. In particular, companies such as Apple with devices like the iPad. This was due to advertising campaigns that depicted older people using the FaceTime application. Yet I realised this would something I would need to delve in to in order to see if older people where actually using the service.
I also acknowledged that there would be a variety of things that I would need to discuss with the older generation if I was to be chosen to answer this question.
